In "The Crime of Boss Brekel!", Ted Grant and his friend Stretch hit the road with the World Heavyweight Champ, bringing their cross-country tour to Midtown. When Stretch is framed for a robbery by Lefty Louie and his gang, Ted steps in as Wildcat—but must let the law take over. With the bank robbed during a fight in the ring and the crooks on the loose, it's up to Wildcat and Police Chief Hawkins to clear the name of the wrongfully accused. Ted and Stretch are in Midtown, a stop on the cross country tour itinerary of the World Heavyweight Champ, Ted Grant. After a knockout of the local champion, they board the train for Hicksville, where Stretch has a friendly bout with Police Chief Hawkins. Lefty Louie and his gang are hiding out in the town and frame Stretch for a robbery. Ted intervenes as Wildcat, but gives way to the law. Louie and his men rob the bank while Hawkins is in the ring with the champ, but are spotted. With the aid of Wildcat, Hawkins captures the crooks.
