Wonder Woman inadvertently leads Thanagarian invaders to Themyscira but quickly defeats them. She is summoned to the United States by military officials who tell her that Etta Candy is missing after an alien attack in the South Pacific. Traveling there, she meets the Justice League for the first time, and recruits Guy Gardner and Rocket Red to help her rescue Etta from the Khunds.
