On the hunt for Sabretooth and his lackeys, Wolverine takes Kitty "back to where it all began" in Canada. After a brief encounter with a super-powered acupuncturist, they arrive at the old site of the Howlett estate which is now a large shopping mall. They sneak into the mall but only encounter grumpy security guards until the mall completely locks down in anticipation for an upcoming battle. Meanwhile, Fury discovers that the Negative Zone virus is on the verge of taking over the world.
