Wild Bill Hickok confronts a Cherokee rebellion led by Red Cloud. When a stagecoach is ambushed by Cherokee warriors, a brave female passenger takes command of the vehicle and rallies the occupants to fight back. General Hancock authorizes Captain Fetterman to pursue the attackers, while Wild Bill and Buffalo Bill Cody move to intercept the Cherokee forces. The conflict culminates in a battle near Woody Island, where the cavalry defeats the rebelling tribesmen and prevents further attacks on the settlement.
