When Sioux raiders mysteriously destroy three frontier forts—leaving soldiers dead without a wound in sight—Wild Bill Hickok is sent as guide to lead a cavalry detail into the Medicine Bow Mountains to uncover the truth. As the soldiers race to Fort Carson ahead of Chief White Cloud's attacking warriors, the real culprit behind the forts' fall becomes apparent, and Wild Bill must act fast to stop a traitor's deadly scheme before the fort falls.
Wild Bill Hickok and his partner Tom Horn arrive at Fort Defiance as scouts, only to be sent on a dangerous mission to spy on Chief Iron Feather's camp—but a treacherous renegade scout tips off the Kiowa, leading to their capture and a desperate escape. Racing back to the fort, the two discover the Major has been lured away by false intelligence, leaving the outpost vulnerable to an imminent attack that Wild Bill must rally the remaining defenders to withstand.
Out in Saddle Gulch, a ruthless outlaw named Diamond Jack has terrorized the local ranchers and merchants—until a mysterious gunslinger arrives in town and tangles with Jack's men in the saloon. When the stranger reveals himself as U.S. Marshal Wild Bill Hickok, he orchestrates a daring scheme to trap Diamond Jack and his gang red-handed, leading to a climactic showdown at Stony Creek.
When Johnny Ringo arrives in the mining town of Alder Gulch fleeing a posse, he devises a bold scheme: become sheriff to monitor gold shipments and tip off his hidden gang to raid them. As the plan succeeds and the robberies pile up, Ringo's overconfidence leads to a fatal slip—and the townspeople catch on to his real identity. The miners set a trap for what they believe will be one final heist, turning the tables on the outlaw lawman and his gang.
