☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis second volume of Gemstone's Vacation Parade series collects classic Disney comic stories originally published in the 1950s and 1960s, featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and other beloved characters in lighthearted, seasonal adventures. The collection reprints material from the original Dell and Gold Key comics, offering a nostalgic look at vintage Disney storytelling and art.
In "Dangerous Disguise," the ducks race against time to intercept a secret message meant for the elusive spy Madame Triple-X, leading them on a wild chase to Chiliburgeria. After a chaotic train journey, Donald Duck finds himself in the unlikely role of Donaldo el Quacko, a bullfighter, as the plot thickens in this classic adventure written and illustrated by Carl Barks, with colors by Scott Rockwell and lettering by Barks himself. The cover, a dynamic collaboration by Carl Buettner and Rick Keene, captures the high-stakes flair of the story.
