Walt Disney's Vacation Parade #1
In "Vacation Time," Carl Barks delivers a classic tale of outdoor mishaps and mistaken blame as Donald Duck takes his nephews camping, only to run afoul of a reckless camper whose carelessness sparks a forest fire. With the ducks narrowly escaping the blaze by digging trenches, the story takes a twist when the culprit shifts the blame onto them—setting up a tense confrontation with the forest rangers. The issue features Barks’ signature storytelling and artwork, with Susan Daigle-Leach handling colors and Carl Buettner and Gary Leach collaborating on the cover.
