In "The Threat of the Stone-Eaters," Mickey and Goofy barely escape a deadly mountain freeze by sliding down on a frozen sleeping bag toboggan, only to stumble upon Dr. Artifact imprisoned by Slunk and a group of Andes natives. The scientist reveals a terrifying discovery: a species of termite that feeds on stone, and Slunk’s chilling plan to unleash them unless his demands are met.

In "That's No Fable!", Scrooge and the boys regale Grandma with a wild tale from a Florida trip they took with Donald, claiming they stumbled upon Poncey de Loon’s legendary fountain of youth—though whether it’s true or just another tall tale remains to be seen.

In "The Boy Tender," a young boy wanders away from the market, leaving Pluto — who’s just been mistreated by the boy — to fend for himself. In "The Weather Watchers," Gyro builds a high-tech weather-vane for Grandma's farm, hoping to keep the seasons in check—until Grandma's goat has other ideas. With each mischievous nudge, the device spins wildly, sending out increasingly dramatic forecasts that send the farm into a flurry of panic.

In "The Threat of the Stone-Eaters," Mickey, Goofy, and Dr. Artifact flee across the high mountain on llama-back, racing to warn the authorities about the deadly stone-eating termites and Slunk’s sinister scheme. As Slunk closes in on horseback, his metal container brimming with the creatures, the heroes are pursued not only by the villain but also by an enraged group of natives, turning the escape into a desperate, high-stakes chase.
