In 1840 Scotland, Doctor John Abernathy relies on his grim assistant Drum—the so-called "grave rat"—to supply corpses for his experiments. In colonial India, a cruel colonel manipulates justice to destroy the man his daughter loves, sentencing him to death. When the condemned man is reborn as a monstrous wild boar, his vengeance takes a terrifying form—driven by the past, he returns to claim what was stolen.
