About this Collection
This 2008 collection brings together the eight-issue Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters miniseries from DC Comics. Written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, with art by Daniel Acuña, the story follows a new generation of heroes—including the Ray, Doll Man, and Phantom Lady—as they battle a fascist regime that has taken over the United States. The volume also includes the one-shot Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters Special, which ties into the larger DC Universe events of the time.
