Ultimate Wolverine #10
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeUltimate Wolverine #10 marks a pivotal moment in Marvel's second-wave Ultimate Universe experiment by delivering both the first appearance of Marrow and the first full appearance of Iceman in the Earth-6160 continuity, steadily expanding the roster of reimagined mutants operating in this dystopian Eurasian Republic setting. The issue is also the death issue for Ultimate Omega Red — a genuinely permanent plot consequence that closes off one of the Rasputin regime's most fearsome enforcers and demonstrates writer Chris Condon's willingness to reshape the Ultimate mythology rather than merely echo it. At the same time, the debut of the Earth-6160 Muramasa Blade — gifted by Sabretooth to Logan in a moment of unexpected tenderness — introduces a weapon with narrative stakes far beyond its 616 counterpart, since this version is quickly theorized to be one of the only tools capable of harming the near-unkillable Maker himself.
