Toyfare: The Toy Magazine #83
In this wild, satirical issue of Toyfare: The Toy Magazine #83, the Red Skull hosts a chaotic roast where Dr. Doom is the guest of honor—complete with a mic mishap involving Klaw’s sound hand and a mix-up over which Sauron and Lizard were invited. When the Red Skull falsely credits Doom with launching the Baxter Building into space—though it was actually the Doombots—the truth comes out in a blast of explosions, leading to a bizarre chain of events that leaves Doom celebrated as a hero on Earth. Written by Pat McCallum, Tom Root, Zach Oat, Justin Aclin, Adam Patyk, Jon Gutierrez, Matt Senreich, and Doug Goldstein, this 2004 issue is a sharp, over-the-top parody that blends superhero egos, mistaken identities, and absurd consequences.

Red Skull hosts the roast of Dr. Doom. Klaw's sound hand gets too close to the microphone, messing up the sound. They mailed the invitation to the wrong Sauron and Lizard insults the wrong villain. Red Skull gives him credit for launching the Baxter Building into space, but it was really the Doombots. When they point this out, he blows up two with a remote. Kirk exposes Uhura's breast and Timberlake does the same to Kingpin. Doom tries to kill the last Doombot, but accidentally launches the building into space. On Earth, he is hailed as a hero for killing all the supervillains.
