Toyfare: The Toy Magazine #130

Jun 2008 · Wizard Entertainment · 4.99 USD; 5.99 CAD

In this 2008 issue of Toyfare: The Toy Magazine #130, the Decepticons find themselves in a surprisingly bureaucratic predicament when Megatron is denied entry across the Mexican border due to his weaponized status. With Starscream now in charge, the team attempts to undermine the Autobots through a series of underhanded schemes—only to face internal strife when Energon supplies dry up. As tensions rise and the black market proves risky, a botched operation leads to a crackdown, exposing a chain of illegal labor practices. Written by Zach Oat, Justin Aclin, Jon Gutierrez, Rob Bricken, Ward, and Collins, with lettering by Pat McCallum, Tom Root, Doug Goldstein, and the team, this satirical take on faction politics and immigration is a standout in the Transformers mythos.
