Dracula looms menacingly over a terrified red-haired woman and a white-haired older man, his crimson-lined cape billowing as he taunts them to "prepare to greet my vampire legions" — and sure enough, ghastly undead figures claw their way up from the earth itself in this May 1973 Marvel chiller. The cover, penciled by Rich Buckler and Gene Colan with inks by Tom Palmer, perfectly captures the dread atmosphere that made Tomb of Dracula such a standout horror series of its era.
