Tomb of Dracula #29
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA wild-eyed Dracula dominates this February 1975 cover, his cape billowing dramatically as he throttles a man while a terrified blonde woman cowers at his feet — the cover copy posing the unsettling question, "What happens when a vampire goes mad?" Gil Kane's pencils and Tom Palmer's inks give the scene a visceral, kinetic energy that perfectly suits the promised "Rampage of Blood" within. Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan were firing on all cylinders during this era of the series, and issue #29 looks like a prime example of why Tomb of Dracula set the standard for Marvel horror in the mid-1970s.
