Tomb of Dracula #17

Few horror set-ups are as chillingly perfect as a vampire aboard a moving train, and this February 1974 Marvel issue makes that premise viscerally clear. Gil Kane and Tom Palmer's cover catches Dracula looming in his billowing red-lined cape at a train-car doorway, fangs bared and claws raised, while a terrified woman and her young daughter cower before him — the child's innocent speech bubble ("See, Mommy? There's the nice man I told you about!") making the moment all the more unsettling.
