Thunderbolts: Doomstrike #3

The "One World Under Doom" tie-in reaches a fever pitch in issue three as Thunderbolts: Doomstrike pits its team against the Original Thunderbolts in what the cover promises to be a full-scale brawl. Leinil Francis Yu's cover artwork captures the chaos beautifully — a snarling, battle-scarred figure dominates the foreground while an ensemble of costumed combatants clashes behind him, with a flying figure in green and another wielding a gleaming staff visible against the sky. Writers Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly, with interior art by Tommaso Bianchi and colors by Yen Nitro, look set to deliver the kind of super-team confrontation that makes "No Unconquered Land" feel like a title with real teeth.
