“How Is Justice Best Served?”

This issue of Marvel's Most Wanted: Thunderbolts presents a striking cover by Mark Bagley and Scott Hanna, dominated by a massively built figure in purple armored plating who looms over a white-haired woman rendered unconscious or dazed in his grip — a shield-like emblem and a flaming, blazing object tumbling through the dark background adding to the tension. The contrast between the hulking purple-and-green villain and the vulnerable figure below him makes for one of the more visually compelling covers of the series' 2000 run. Fans of morally complex superhero drama will find plenty to draw them into "How Is Justice Best Served?", written by Glenn Herdling with interior art by Gregg Schigiel.
