The Beetle dominates this cover in imposing purple-and-green armor, glowing yellow eyes fixed squarely on the reader — and the bold tagline "Beware the Beetle!" leaves little doubt he means business. Surrounding him are the faces of four Thunderbolts teammates, including Hawkeye and what appears to be Moonstone, framing the threat with a palpable sense of tension. Fabian Nicieza and Mark Bagley (with inks by Scott Hanna on the cover) deliver a charged visual setup for "The Inheritance," a 2000 Marvel entry in this fan-favorite series about villains walking an uneasy line.
