Threshold #7

Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Threshold #7 (September 2013) promises exactly what its tagline delivers — The Hunted going on the offensive. Howard Porter's cover captures a fierce, sprawling charge of misfit combatants: Blue Beetle in armored flight, a sword-wielding warrior lunging overhead, a young blue-haired fighter with a Green Lantern ring blazing, a white-haired one-eyed figure, a knife-ready young woman, and a reptilian alien all surging forward together under the glare of broadcast spotlights. With Keith Giffen writing and both Tom Raney and Phil Winslade sharing art duties inside, this issue also promises a bonus "Star Hawkins Is On the Case!" backup strip — plenty of cosmic action packed into one $3.99 package.
