Thor charges toward the viewer on the cover of this 2008 Marvel issue, his winged helmet gleaming and Mjolnir raised overhead in a grip that leaves no doubt about his intent — Marko Djurdjević and Danny Miki render the God of Thunder with an intensity that practically crackles off the page. J. Michael Straczynski's run continues here with a story titled "Father Issues," and that charged, battle-worn expression on Thor's face suggests the weight of something far more personal than an ordinary fight. A compelling chapter in one of Marvel's most celebrated Thor runs of the decade.
