The Avengers try and avert disaster as a giant meteor crashes to Earth. Another meteor falls and Magneto realizes it is a remnant of Asteroid M so he leaves the X-Men behind to see if he can salvage any of his old stuff. The Avengers and Soviet Super-Soldiers figure it out as well and move to intercept him.
