The Uncanny X-Men #529
Part four of Matt Fraction's "The Five Lights" arc arrives in this 2010 Marvel issue, with a cover by Terry and Rachel Dodson that places Emma Frost front and center in her signature white ensemble, flanked by a steely-eyed Wolverine looming in the background and a young woman in a green-and-black suit surging forward with unmistakable urgency. The contrast between Emma's cool composure and the younger figure's intensity gives the composition a real sense of generational tension — two very different X-Men sharing the same frame. Whilce Portacio and Harvey Tolibao handle interior art duties, making this a strong creative package from one of the X-Men's most ambitious 2010 storylines.
