“Welcome Back, Frank”

"Welcome Back, Frank" marks a pivotal moment in Garth Ennis’s brutal reinvention of the Punisher, with art by Dougie Braithwaite and inks by a team of top-tier collaborators. After a tragic loss during a superhero clash in Central Park, Frank Castle is imprisoned—only to be recruited by a shadowy consortium of wealthy survivors to eliminate every metahuman on Earth. With his tech-savvy partner Microchip, Frank wages a relentless war across the globe, turning his fury on both heroes and villains alike. The cover by Tim Bradstreet captures the grim intensity of this dark, morally complex chapter.

When police officer Frank Castle's family is killed during a super powered battle in Central Park, Frank goes nuts and kills a few of the heroes off. Sentenced to life in prison for his actions, he is brought to the secret mansion of Kesselring and commissioned to kill all of earth's super humans by a group of rich backers whose lives have all been ruined by metahuman activity. With his partner Microchip, the Punisher spends years cutting through both the good and bad guys until the only one left is his childhood friend, Daredevil.
