Frank Castle stares out from this Marvel Knights issue with unsettling calm — skull emblem on his chest, assault rifle resting across his lap, every line of his face suggesting a man who has already made up his mind. Tim Bradstreet's cover art renders the Punisher with a gritty, almost photorealistic weight that perfectly suits the tone Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon brought to this 2000 series. "Desperate Measures" promises exactly the kind of stripped-down, purposeful tension this creative team does so well.
