Garth Ennis and Cam Kennedy bring "Streets of Laredo" to its conclusion in this 2003 Marvel Knights issue, and Tim Bradstreet's cover sets the mood perfectly — Frank Castle stands battle-worn and grim before a shooting-range target, dual pistols in hand, his torn coat revealing the skull emblem beneath. The split black-and-white composition, with red bullet holes clustered on the target beside him, frames Castle as both hunter and, unmistakably, the hunted. It's a quietly menacing piece of cover art that captures everything essential about this version of the Punisher.
