“From Rocks to Riches”

In "From Rocks to Riches," Fred finds himself on an unexpected adventure when a bronto-bird spirits him away while he's napping in his hammock—unaware, of course, as Pebbles and Bamm Bamm follow the bird to its nest and quietly return him before he wakes. Written by Mark Evanier and brought to life with lively art by Roger Armstrong, inks by Joe Prince, and vibrant colors by Carl Gafford, this 1977 Marvel classic captures the whimsy of prehistoric mischief, all under a striking cover by Roger Armstrong and Joe Prince.

Fred is left babysitting the kids but falls asleep in his hammock. While he's asleep, he is taken by a bronto-bird. Pebbles and Bamm Bamm follow them to the bronto-birds's nest, and bring Fred back to his hammock, all whilst he's still asleep and none the wiser for his little excursion.
