“The Secret of Barry Allen, Part One”

In "The Secret of Barry Allen, Part One," Geoff Johns and Howard Porter deliver a pulse-pounding chapter where Barry Allen confronts Professor Zoom in a race against time. With the Cosmic Treadmill as the final battleground, the stakes are higher than ever as Wally West’s choices ripple through the timeline—changing the past in ways that could reshape the future. The story’s emotional core is anchored by the weight of memory and sacrifice, all rendered with Porter’s dynamic art and Livesay’s sharp inks, while James Sinclair’s colors and Rob Leigh’s lettering add depth to every page.

Barry takes Professor Zoom back to his proper time period. Zoom and Wally return to the moment when Zoom caused Linda's miscarriage, but Wally subtly changes the events of that day. Zoom tries to use the Cosmic Treadmill against Wally without Professor Zoom, but since he is fueled by time, not the speed force, the treadmill explodes, taking Zoom with it. As the survivors take stock of their lives, the effects of Wally's efforts in the past take hold with happy results.
