Rounding out the package, portrait medallions along the side introduce readers to the broader Batman Family roster — Batwoman, the Kiteman, and the Batman of the Future — promising a nicely varied anthology of Gotham's extended circle. With interior work from writer Elliot S! Maggin and artist José Luis García-López, "Isle of a Thousand Thrills!" looks like exactly the kind of high-stakes, fun adventure that made DC's Giant format so satisfying in the mid-seventies.
