Part 4 of "The Collection Obsession" arc brings the Avengers face-to-face with the Brethren in this 1991 Marvel entry, and the cover by Ron Lim and Tom Palmer makes the threat feel immediate — a massive armored Brethren warrior looms at center while a white-costumed female combatant trades blows with him, and a green-clad heroine is blasted to the ground in the foreground.
