“Le jeu de la mort”

In "Le jeu de la mort," a nuclear meltdown in Japan sets off a deadly chain reaction when a trio of assassins is sent to hunt down Tony Stark, the man responsible for the flawed reactor parts. With his body still failing and the Masters of Silence closing in, Stark fights back by remotely piloting his Iron Man armor—then pushes further, crafting a new suit to face the threat head-on. Written by Len Kaminski and illustrated by Kevin Hopgood, with inks by Bob Wiacek and colors by Mike Rockwitz, this 1993 issue features a striking cover by Jae Lee.
