The Amazing Spider-Man #4

Spider-Man finds himself caught in the middle of a massive brawl on this April 1999 cover, sandwiched between a massive, sandy figure and a dark-caped adversary while the Human Torch blazes across the upper left, the Thing charges in from below, and the Invisible Woman and a ninja-clad figure press in from the sides. The story title "Betrayals" hints at fractured alliances, and with the Fantastic Four seemingly in conflict alongside — or against — the wall-crawler, the tension practically leaps off the page.
