Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #41

Leonardo dominates this February 1993 Archie issue with a massive, grinning close-up, his blue mask filling the center while two fearsome red-scaled reptilian creatures loom in from either side, claws and tusks on full display. Peter Laird's pencils and Ryan Brown's inks give the whole scene a wonderfully energetic, in-your-face quality that suits the Adventures series perfectly. A small inset of Donatello in the upper corner rounds out a cover that's equal parts menacing and fun.
