Superman: New Krypton #1
"From a Cub to a Wolf" marks a pivotal moment in Superman: New Krypton #1, as Geoff Johns and Pete Woods deliver a story where Earth's uneasy peace fractures under the weight of Zod’s surviving forces and a brutal clash that pushes Superman to his limits. With Doomsday’s relentless assault joined by Supergirl, her parents, and the Kandorians in a fight that reaches the moon, the stakes feel both personal and planetary. The cover by Gary Frank and Jon Sibal captures the intensity of this turning point, where legacy, loyalty, and the cost of power collide.

Doomsday continues his assault on Superman, but this time he has help from Supergirl, her parents, and the other Kryptonians from Kandor. They push the fight to the moon, where the Kandorians dogpile on Doomsday and beat him to death, with Superman and Supergirl looking on.
