The Kryptonians from Kandor are the big news story. Superman is on his way to Kandor when he is confronted by members of the Justice Society of America and Wonder Woman about the Kryptonians' presence on Earth, but he assures them everything will work out. Superman then meets up with the Kryptonians and Supergirl in Kandor, and leads a delegation of them to Metropolis to meet the President of the United States. The President jokes that Supergirl's parents owe him a new plane, but their meeting is interrupted by a fireball crashing. Emerging from it was Doomsday.
