Superman Extra #11
Written by Martin Pasko and illustrated by Kurt Schaffenberger with inks by Vince Colletta, the cover by Eduardo Barreto captures the moment with a striking, moody scene.
When a revived Lex Luthor threatens Smallville once more, a now-married Clark Kent—his powers only partially restored by a mix of Kryptonite and alien tech—must protect his family and the town he loves. With Lana at his side and young Clarky watching, the man once known as Superboy faces the villain who broke him, testing what it truly means to be Superman.
In the depths of an underwater fortress, Supergirl confronts Matrix-Prime and his enforcer Brains, drawn into a conflict that exposes the Council’s ruthless agenda. As tensions rise, the Council orders the execution of Lester Adams, leaving Supergirl to navigate a web of betrayal and secrecy with only Cheryl, Daryll, and the shadowy presence of Stratega to guide her.
When Das Team der Retter moves to capture Reaktron, Supergirl must stay hidden—her identity hanging in the balance as she watches from the shadows. With the stakes rising in a secret experimental reactor, she’ll have to act fast before the team’s mission turns deadly.
When Supergirl is thrown into a desintegrator pit by her six miniature clones, she’s unexpectedly healed—and strengthened—by the chemical fumes. As she turns the tide using golden Kryptonite radiation to disable her tiny foes, she discovers Professor Drake dead, murdered by the Konzil. Lieutenant Gabe Peters arrives on the scene, once again leveling accusations at her, deepening the mystery and tension.
In "Das große Rätsel des abgeschlossenen Zimmers!", Superman [Clark Kent - Kal-El] and Lois Lane wait for the rock star Craig Wellmann in an old apartment, where a quiet card game turns into a moment of unexpected revelation. As Craig finally arrives and recounts a fire he survived, Lois inadvertently mirrors a series of heroic deeds—only to realize too late that her words have unknowingly confirmed Clark’s secret identity.
Terraman turns Metropolis into a stage for chaos, using televised manipulation to force the city into watching his showdown with Superman. With every screen in the city tuned to his spectacle, the line between hero and spectacle blurs—leaving Lois, Jimmy, and Perry scrambling to see through the spectacle before the whole city is caught in his grip.
In a quiet moment in Metropolis, a citizen captures a fleeting image of Terraman surrendering his weapons after his final victory—only to reveal he’s left cosmic bombs scattered across the city. As Superman prepares for a dramatic showdown with the space cowboy, the stakes rise when the battle ends in tragedy, leaving the city in shock.
When Superman rises from the grave wearing Terraman’s likeness, he finds himself entangled in a mystery rooted in vengeance and identity. The brother of Terraman’s late adoptive father seeks retribution for a past killing, and only by appealing to Terraman’s sense of honor can Superman unravel the deception.
