Superman #662
Few images capture Superman's cosmic scale quite like this cover from Carlos Pacheco and Jesús Merino: the Man of Steel sits serenely on a crumbling chunk of the Moon, bathed in brilliant solar rays, one hand raised thoughtfully toward a massive planet filling the sky above him. The title "The Weight of the World" pairs perfectly with that quiet, contemplative pose — a god-like figure surrounded by the vastness of space, yet somehow looking deeply, humanly pensive. Kurt Busiek's run on this title was consistently rewarding, and this 2007 issue promises another story that balances Superman's tremendous power against something far more personal.

Subjekt-17 convalesces in Tibet. After listening to his friends debate the future that Arion showed, Superman enlists Zatanna's help to track down Arion, with no success. He does track down Sirocco, accidentally naming him in the process, and asks him about Khyber. Sirocco assures Superman that he destroyed Khyber a while ago.
