Superman finds himself in a tight spot on this November 1989 cover, pinned beneath a sleek flying vehicle as a group of passengers — including a red-haired young man who can only be Jimmy Olsen — look on while someone shouts "Gun Him Down!" The Newsboy Legion and the Guardian also get prominent billing at the bottom of the cover, promising a packed ensemble story.
