“The New Adventures of Supergirl The Girl of Steel”

The New Adventures of Supergirl: The Girl of Steel kicks off with a pulse-pounding mystery as "Kal-El" traces a mysterious tattoo linked to Flamebird, leading to a tense standoff with Nightwing and the rebel leader. When the real Nightwing and Flamebird finally arrive, the truth behind the impostor’s identity begins to unravel—culminating in a shocking moment where Flamebird is guided by a voice from "Kal-El's" mother, the Saturn Queen, to unmask him and kiss him. Written by Joe Kelly and Greg Rucka, with art by Ian Churchill and Norm Rapmund, and a striking cover by Michael Turner, this issue sets a bold, emotionally charged tone for Supergirl’s new chapter.
