A determined boy named Ollie is desperate to get a dog—his parents have flatly refused—so when he transforms into Super Brat at midnight, he decides to fly to the city dog pound and take matters into his own hands. But the mean dog catcher Jeffrey Stoneheart has other plans, setting a trap to catch whoever—or whatever—is causing trouble at his pound. What unfolds is a wild battle of wits between a superpowered kid and a conniving catcher, with a very big dog caught in the middle.

Ollie's mother drags him to buy a new suit for Rosemary's birthday party, but the pint-sized troublemaker has other plans—after midnight, he uses his magic cape to sabotage what he thinks is Rosemary's house with a water-filled ditch and alligators. When his scheme backfires spectacularly at the actual party the next day, Ollie finds himself scrambling to retrieve his cape before anyone discovers his secret—all while the chaos he causes only gets worse. It's a slapstick showdown between a reluctant party guest and his own wild superpowers.

Li'l Teevy is a girl so devoted to watching television that nothing—not even her parents' move to a new house—can tear her away from the screen.
