Star Comics #4

Star Comics #4 is an anthology issue featuring multiple humorous stories. "The Prince" follows a princess attempting to cross a muddy stream with the help of a suitor, who ends up covered in mud when the ground gives way. Another story, "Jungle Jingle," presents a series of comedic vignettes including a bulldog biting a grandfather, a boy smoking a cigar and becoming ill, a waitress serving fresh eggs she just laid, and a foreman struck in the eye by a hammer. The issue also contains a longer adventure story in which the protagonist Dan attempts to rescue a woman named Gloria from the villain Orien, involving elaborate mechanical death traps and dramatic confrontations within a bandit hideout.
