Amanda Waller has been relieved of command of Task Force X pending an investigation of the events involving the Justice League and Maxwell Lord, and she spends her time trying to track down Rustam. Harcourt now oversees the Squad as they raid Russian bases trying to track down the Annihilation Brigade. Flag requests shore leave for the Squad, while Hack tries to decode the data that they retrieve and learns of a spy within the Suicide Squad. Meanwhile, Rustam leads a prison break at Blackgate Penitentiary.
