Amanda Waller, who was shot in a dark alley, is brought to an emergency room where the doctors try to save her, but she succumbs to her injuries. Rustam breaks into a high security vault in Blackgate to free fellow members of The Burning World, an organization looking to overthrow world governments. Harcourt has Hack digitize the Squad to get them to Blackgate to fight Rustam's team, but Rustam's team escapes, taking Flag and Katana with them.
