Sheldon Mayer's Sugar and Spike are at it again in this December 1958 DC charmer, where the two toddlers have turned a vacuum cleaner into their latest adventure — Sugar clutching the hose while Spike rides the whirring machine itself, all in determined pursuit of a cookie jar perched temptingly just out of reach. It's a perfectly observed slice of toddler logic and ingenuity, rendered with Mayer's warmly expressive linework that made this series such a delight.
