“Enchères”

"Enchères" delivers a tense, high-stakes showdown in the heart of New York’s underworld, as Kingpin reasserts control with ruthless precision. Written by Christopher Priest and illustrated by Alan Kupperberg, with inks by Jim Fern and colors by George Roussos, this 1988 issue pulses with danger as Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the Falcon clash with Kingpin’s forces—just as the Hobgoblin and Jack O’ Lantern collide in a brutal street fight. The cover by M. D. Bright and Bob Layton captures the chaos perfectly, setting the stage for a moment that redefines power, loyalty, and the cost of legacy.
