Starman #16
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe fifth and final chapter of "Sins of the Child" arrives in February 1996, and Tony Harris's painted-style cover makes a strong impression: a pale, grinning figure dominates the foreground, trailing ghostly smoke, while behind them a goggled Jack Knight cradles a small jester doll amid a scattered pile of stuffed toys and skulls. It's an unsettling, beautifully rendered image that captures the story arc's dark carnival atmosphere heading into its conclusion. James Robinson and Harris, with inks by Wade von Grawbadger, were clearly pushing Starman into genuinely mature storytelling territory with this run.
