Star Wars #10

Marvel's 1978 Star Wars series ventures boldly "beyond the movie" with this issue subtitled "The Behemoth from the World Below," and the cover by Rick Hoberg and Tony DeZuniga delivers on that promise immediately. Han Solo blazes away with his blaster at a massive, tooth-filled creature lunging from the right, while Chewbacca crouches below laying down fire of his own — their desperate exchange captured in speech bubbles warning that the whole planet is doomed. A small inset of Luke Skywalker in the upper corner rounds out the ensemble, hinting at wider adventure to come.
