With the fiancée of sportsman Alan Armstrong taken hostage and Nazi bombers marked with the Golden Wasp's insignia bearing down on the city, Spy Smasher must navigate a web of secret tunnels and disguised agents to stop a Fifth Column plot before it cripples America's war machine. The trail leads from a mysterious well to a hidden nest of conspirators, and the real Golden Wasp is ready to make his final, deadly move.
Spy Smasher teams up with the Komitaji—a fierce band of Balkan mountain fighters—to take down the Nazi operative Stossman and his forces in occupied Europe. When Colonel Ivor, the Komitaji's leader, is wounded during a brutal retreat across a treacherous chasm, Spy Smasher refuses to abandon him and rallies the resistance fighters for a daring counterattack. As the battle escalates from ground combat to aerial dogfights, Spy Smasher seizes a German plane to turn the tide and help the Komitaji reclaim their mountain stronghold.
