Spy Smasher pursues Nazi and Japanese enemies across multiple theaters. In one storyline, he investigates the tomb of Krishna in the desert, discovering enemy activity and a guardian figure protecting the ancient site. Concurrently, Spy Smasher races against the Nazis to obtain a valuable invention—a silver medallion belonging to an Italian underground movement—which he retrieves in Rome before pursuing his foes across the Atlantic. The issue also features a comedic backup story involving characters on the moon discussing green cheese.

Boarding the freighter S.S. Keno as it sails with the fleet, Spy Smasher discovers that Herman and Migo are Nazi agents who plan to use those decoy periscopes to lure the convoy's naval escorts away while German submarines move in for the kill. Tied up and seemingly powerless below deck, Spy Smasher must find a way to stop the sabotage before the destroyers fall for the trick.
