This anthology issue contains multiple stories featuring Northwest Mounties tales. "The Blue Monk" follows a mysterious case of murder and robbery at a National Art Museum, where the Blue Monk and his band of crooks utilize their criminal expertise to baffle police. "Mission of Mercy," by Bert N. Dean, features Inspector Don Norton of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police investigating a typhoid epidemic in an Arctic settlement, where he discovers two white men attempting to use the crisis to cover up a murder and conspiracy involving fur trading. A third story involves a shooting incident in a mining camp where a character named Jack is wounded and his sweetheart Nancy Duval becomes caught in the dangerous situation.
